Pressing Times

Pressing Times is the magazine of Bay Area Alternative Press (BAAP). BAAP has a legacy of success that is tempered by the overall lack of journalistic integrity resulting from government and corporate collusion that prioritizes profits for the wealthy.

Pressing Times provides a forum for communication within and without our membership association and all those who share a commitment to advancement of an independent press challenging the orthodox media’s selective misrepresentation of the facts.

Pressing Times prints facts and analysis about how to change conditions that force more than 100 million U.S. workers to struggle for lack of a living wage and over 47 million suffer from hunger.

We welcome submissions of letters to the editor, news accounts of events not covered in the official press, examples of the official media’s role in spreading misinformation, as well as photographs and graphics for potential publication in Pressing Times.
